Phillip Bloch

October 30, 2008 by sandy305

Phillip Bloch is widely considered to be Hollywood’s premier fashion stylist and fashion guru to the stars. Bloch has worked with A-list celebrities such as Halle Berry, Jim Carrey, John Travolta, Sandra Bullock, Faye Dunaway, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore, and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, to name a few.

Because of his standout personality and unique sense of humor he is regularly featured on VH1 and MTV (” Newlyweds,” “Punk’d,” “House of Style – Mission Makeover” and “Becoming”) and frequently acts as a guest correspondent for CNN, ABC, E!, Style Network, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight.

In addition to his burgeoning TV career, Bloch is also an accomplished writer penning clever and witty pieces for magazines such as Elle, Detour and InStyle magazines. In 1999, he wrote and produced a photo-driven book on Hollywood style called “Elements of Style,” (Warner Books). The book features exclusive interviews with fashion’s most sought-after designers, photographers and hair and makeup artists, as well as 140 photos of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, all styled to perfection by Bloch.

Recently, Bloch has designed a line of jewelry on QVC, which premiered in June 2000 and has sold over $2 million with only 12 live telecasts.
